~Build the will~

porb:

-Nowadays
most of us don’t know our own strength.
We’re not used to relying on our own
capabilities; we assume we can always be
defeated. Most of the strength of those who
hold power is founded on this defeatism.
But a little courage can be infectious, and
once people get used to wielding power
together they won’t quickly give it up-

It doesn’t matter what you’ve heard. Impossible is not a word. It’s just a reason for someone not to try.
(via positive-outlooks)

So true. If I let the word impossible stop me from doing things i wouldn’t be where I am now. In the hospital doctors told me all the things I wouldn’t be able to do anymore, and what would be impossible, and my goal was to prove them all wrong and I did.

The question is NOT why they don’t like you when you are being YOU. It is WHY are you wasting your time worrying what they think of you. For as long as you are not hurting anyone with your actions you should keep moving forward with your life. -Dodinsky

There are times in life where if feels like you have one foot in the present, leading you to your future and one foot in the past, keeping you from moving on to better and bigger things. As hard as it may sound, you just need to find a way to turn that foot around. It’s the only way life will get better.

(I took the photo at work after turning my prosthetic backwards to mess with a coworker, challenging each other to do different things, took her about 15 minutes of trying until she realized how I did it and accused me of cheating).

I wonder what happiness could look like if we could give it a form..?
The Shape of happiness might resemble glass..
Even though you don’t usually notice it, it’s still definitely there…
You merely have to change your Point of View slightly..
and that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light..
I doubt that anything could argue its existence more eloquently..
